Well, i mean you can be like James, if you have a spare 1.5 million youd be spending on it. =).

Equipped with a 7.3 liter v12 that will produce roughly 700 hp which is positioned farther back then youd expect for overall stability, and a 0-60 time of 3.5. It's a pretty awesome car, not gunna lie.

But, why? Wouldnt you rather have 1001 hp? and a more stunning exterior, with a more prestige name? cough cough, Buggati?

It really depends on the buyer, and at over a million bucks. It's not top on my list.

Hyundai, 3.8 liter v8, cheap as dirt, sweet warranty, and overall cool car. Sounds good to me.
This new car is the Hyundai Genesis Coupe with the v8 under the hood that produces over 300 ponies, and propels this car to 60 in about 5.5 sec.

Awesomeness.

The REAL goat

Right above 30 g's, 370 hp, 400 lb ft of torque, Hemi v8, 1-60 in 6 sec, slalom 63 mph, 60-0=126 ft.

Serious power... not very fast though. Mediocre 0-60. Brakes weren't very good, and handling is ok. This being a 2 seater... I dont see how this happens. But ok.

Still classic looks, serious fun. v8 growl.

Finally im able to get to the cars i really like.

For example this <<< new 315 hp stang, that can hit 0-60 in right around 5 sec stock. V8, small, american. It all adds up to what should be a top pick for me.

This new generation mustang gt has vertical doors, is smaller, handles like a european car,has the rumble of the v8. what else could you want???

all for under 30 g's. might not put up hp numbers of the g8, but can run circles around it in handling. And can holds its own on drags with the g8.

Comes in th same colors mustangs always have.

The most hardcore flower

Serious contender? YES! at around 60 g's you can have a true bred sports car. with half the cylinders, and over a 100 hp drop from the slk 55, this car still woops it. 0-60 in 4 sec. one whole sec off the slk's time. and 25 mpg? pretty sweet. Granted, the mercedes is everything this isnt. But remember, this is best sports car for price, not luxury mixed with sportyness. This is where the lotus exige destroys its competitors. Less then 4 feet tall, the g forces exerted give the driver and passenger such a greater feel of speed. You obv dont get that v8 growl, but with the 1 sec 0-60 diff. i can live with a blender noise. lol. braking is obviously amazing, almost going from 60-0 in less then 3 digits. Which is incredible, and slalom times thatd make a corvette look like a hummer on a wet road. This car is just amazing. Watch out, this car is top 3 in my list for competitors in my list. Not telling where it places.

rollin in the benz

The 8 cyl. small convertible benz. Probably not exactly what you think of when you think of mercedes benz. Your probably thinking of the big luxurious s series or the sporty cl series. But today im gunna talk about the small SLK 55 amg. starting at 65 g's you get a 5.4 liter 8 cyl engine and a 7 speed auto transmission. True v8 rumble is really recognized with this car. it has capable, not stunning handling, and an awesome hardtop convertible. With 355 hp and 376 lb-ft of torque this is no baby toy either. It roared its way to 60 mph from a dead stop in just under 5 sec and busted the quarter mile in 13 sec. Its perfect weight distobution of 50/50 also helps its handiling as under or over steer are virtually non-existent. at an average mpg of 17, its no fuel sipper. But hey, its a v8, dont complain. with a braking distance from 60-0 in 115 feet, even with a weight almost hitting 2 tons. Thats just AWESOME. Basically a shelby cobra in a tux.

This blog is about the best value for the price, and im telling you right now, this isn't taking anything. But its the cobalt's closest competition. So here it is.

$23,000, 200hp, standard serius radio, 0-60 mph in 6.2, 28 mpg highway....WAIT WHAT?????
slower and less fuel effiecient then the cobalt, and more expensive???????

might as well forget about this car.

Might be a little hard to find one, since theyre all just selling off the lot, just like the xbox 360 did when it first came out. If you do find one, BUY IT!

Best value sports car in the u.s?

its a serious contender!!!

Differing from the earlier cobalt ss that had a supercharger, this new ss has a turbocharger. Which boosts the hp from 210 to 260!
This car comes standard with leather, premium audio system, on-star, all the goodies.
The only complain i might have with this car is that its basically a tuner, attracting a younger crowd. I couldn't imagine a senior car enthusiast driving this for some reason. lol. oh and the options might rack up if you want it loaded. If you want a loaded version, better hope you have around $27,000 and be expecting to pay it in full, since these are hard to find, you can best bet they arent worried about you not buying it. Someone else will right after you for sure.

Other then that. Amazing car for the price.

16.4 liter 16 cylinder, 1001 hp that is. At the same price of a reventon at 1.5 mil, i'd say this is a much better buy then the gaudily priced reventon.

going at its full speed the car's fuel lasts for only 12 min with 27 gallons in the tank, and the tires last about 15 min. Truely amazing, what we're doing now a days. lol.

WHAT THE F$#@!!!!!

WELL, in my first 2 posts i included the little electric tesla, and the Muscle budget g8.

Obviously i realize my blog is about finding the best car for the price, and obviously this car is not going to be taking the cake here at a whopping 1.5 million. i just liked the idea of throwing up some the most expensive and high class cars available today. How this car is worth 1.5 mil you ask? I have no idea! but hey, if you have the money, by all means buy one! lol.

For 1.5 million though, id expect a little more then just 650 horses...

no real tests have been put on the car by any precise equipment or anything.

It dies have over 430 lb ft of torque though, which i can imagine makes it easier to pull around fast corners at different gears, making simple gear mistakes less costly.

This car is so exlcusive and expensive, that only 20 are going to be made, 11 of which are coming to the U.S. Top speedsmof over 220 mph expected.

The only real test put on it was on a test track in italy, where the driver wasnt allowed to push the car, so he only manuevered around at 90.

Later on, if the car takes off, more will be produced, and hopefully real track numbers will be unveiled.

Pontiac's best ever

Well, on my first post we talked about the Tesla electric Roadster. In this post we're gunna actually get into some of my kind of cars. This whole blog was created to find the best overall performance car in the u.s.a for the price. And a couple months ago i saw this commercial. Most powerful car for under $30,000. And hey that fits this blog perfectly! Incase you haven't figured out what car im talking about it's the new 2008 Pontiac G8 GT.
Let's go over it awesome performance numbers first. It hits 0-60 in a solid 5.4 seconds, and hits the 1/4 mile in 13.7 seconds. Pontiac's designers finally seem to have found the right combination, blending the now non existent gto and grand prix. Inside line claims it to be the best pontiac ever. I wouldn't say so, seeing as though the gto in 2004-2006 had 400 instead of the g8's 361. But i guess engine power isn't the only thing to everyone, just me. lol. They claim this car will be under 30,000. That can be misleading. For 30,000 you get the engine and a base car with small rims and cheap rubber. So for around 33,000 you can have an astounding car that can tear up the track with a 65 mph slalom test speed, on the drag strip with awesome power and on the normal roads with its perfect balance of stiffness and give from the suspension. It also comes in over 5 different exterior colors, and options are abundant.
It might not be as mind blowing of a car as the Tesla Roadster, but for $60 something thousand dollars less, i could live with it.

The little electric that could

As you most likely guessed, this blog was created to try to figure one thing out. Whats the best exotic or modern muscle car in the u.s.a for the price? (obviously im against Obama's strong push on alternative fuel sources) lol. And since i really love big blocks and huge gas guzzling engines that'll get you from 0-60 in the sub-4 second range, im going to go ahead and get out only car that doesnt use gas out of the way. You're probably asking yourself, why is he putting a hybrid in a blog like this. Well actually its not even a hybrid. It's the new 2009 Tesla Roadster, which actually runs 100% on battery. It goes from 0-60 in under 4 seconds, and goes up to 220 miles on a single charge!!!!!! AMAZING!!! It also has a top speed on 125 mph. It charges to 100% battery capacity in only 3.5 hours, less then your remote control car that lasts only about 20 min. The watermelon sized battery that moves this amazing machine generate up to 250 horsepower and 276 pound feet of torque!!!! It's not cheap though, coming in at $105,000. And you won't be getting next day shipping with a waiting time for this car of up to 9 months. It comes in 13 different breathe taking colors and offers over 20 different types of interior colors. As for safety. This is about as safe as you can get, having everything from ABS brake system to all traction tires and traction control. Another point to bring up with safety is that theres no motor anywhere. So if you get hit straight on or anywhere you wont have to deal with a 500 lb engine ending up on your lap thats 600 degrees and has parts moving at over 8,000 rotations per minute. Thats a major thumbs up.
So basically for around the price of a new viper, you can get the same performance, more safety, have that smile that says "im glad im saving the enviornment", and the most unique car on the road.
On the down side, you wont get that gruntle of the 10 cylinder engine, and you wont be able to go past 125 mph.
